    for our families to be built on the foundation of christ's love and truth

    Matthew 7:24-25

     “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

    Joshua 24:15

    And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of [a]the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

    for new volunteers for ministries within our church

    Colossians 3:23-24

    And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ.

    for discipleship and spiritual growth within our church

    Matthew 28:19-20

    Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [b]Amen.

    Ephesians 4:11-14

    And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [a]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

    for other churches and ministries in orlando who are preaching the gospel

    Colossians 4:2-4

    Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the [a]mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, 4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

  • august 19

    for the pastors and ministry leaders in our church

    I Timothy 3:2-6

    A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not [a]given to wine, not violent, [b]not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not [c]covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6 not a [d]novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.

    for our missionaries all over the world

    Acts 13:1-3

    Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

    for the community outreach events that will take place this year

    Acts 3:12

    So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

  • august 22

    for our church to be a worshipping church

    John 4:23-24

    But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

    Psalm 100

    Make a joyful shout to the Lord, [a]all you lands!

    2 Serve the Lord with gladness;

    Come before His presence with singing.

    3 Know that the Lord, He is God;

    It is He who has made us, and [b]not we ourselves;

    We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

    4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

    And into His courts with praise.

    Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

    5 For the Lord is good;

    His mercy is everlasting,

    And His truth endures to all generations.

    for new vision and new ministry initiatives

    I Corinthians 9:21-23

    to those who are without law, as without law (not being without [a]law toward God, but under [b]law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became [c]as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

  • august 24

    for those in our church family who need a special touch of god

    James 5:13-18

    Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 [a]Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, [b]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

  • august 25

    for our national, and community leaders, and elected officials

    I Timothy 2:1-2

    Therefore I [a]exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in [b]authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and [c]reverence.

    for unity in our church

    John 17:20-23

    “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who [a]will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
